About the weekend:

Check-in for the weekend is optional for either Wednesday Aug 18 or Thursday Aug. 19 (race is on Saturday). Check-out is Monday, Aug. 22. Anyone who has checked in by Thursday at 10am is invited to pre-ride the course as a group on Thursday! (please note included meals will start on Thursday night – as Wednesday night is considered and early check-in but there is no extra charge for that night of lodging).
Additional group rides will be scheduled for Friday and Sunday.

What is included?

  • 4-5 nights lodging
  • Race fee
  • Team shirt
  • Transportation to the race
  • Meals (starting Thursday dinner)

Hisega Adventure Lodge will have a comfort station with snacks, drinks, chairs, bike service and whatever else is needed for our team(s) at the race.

About the race:

The race is a charity event for the Northern Hills CASA Program and is intended for beginner-intermediate riders to advanced riders. It takes place in the Black Hills outside of Spearfish, South Dakota and is about 1 hour from the lodge.

This course is a 3 and 6 mile loop on mountain bike trails that consists of flowy single track and double track. Participants will complete as many laps as possible during a 3 hour or 6 hour time duration. The race can be completed as a team or by an individual.

The Hisega Adventure Lodge will be fielding up to 4 teams in either category (3 or 6 mile loops). We will be racing while supporting each other, we expect this race to be GREAT fun while still being a challenge. This is a perfect first-time race as you’ll have lots of people cheering you on!
