Women’s Mountain Bike Adventure

Are you ready to share some new terrain with a group of women just like you?  We’re here and ready to ride with you!

The Black Hills have some amazing trails, and we know where to find them.

Here at the Hisega Adventure Lodge, we’ve designed an unforgettable weekend.  If you’re an intermediate rider, who likes to be challenged with a little technical riding and some fast downhills, you’ll love riding in the Black Hills.

What can you expect from your time here?

No Strict Schedules.
Lots of Opportunity to Ride.
Home-Away-From-Home Environment.
Plenty of Relaxation Opportunities.
Amazing Food.
Great Company.

Your Vacation. Your Way.

At the Hisega Adventure Lodge, we know it’s your vacation and you need some flexibility.
Some of us want to ride, ride, ride.  Others like to mix it up.  We’re ok with that.

Most days, we offer a morning and afternoon ride, you can do either one or both.  Other days, we might have a long ride that has an optional early exit point for those who’d like to enjoy a massage, relax on the deck or paddle at the lake.

We just know one thing, you’ll love your time here.

Tips for your experience:
A positive attitude is the most important thing that you can being on this trip. Even for many experienced riders, three days of challenges can get tiring. We will have a guide in the front, as well as a sweeper in the back, so you can ride at your own pace. That said, riding with a group provides a great opportunity to stretch your comfort zone and take on some new challenges if you feel ready. Riding these trails for three days straight is hard, but starting to condition strength and cardio now can help you make the most of your visit.

Location:
Our adventures are all based out of the Hisega Adventure Lodge, a 111 year old lodge in the easternmost section of the Black Hills National Forest, twenty minutes from Rapid City Center. Here you can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature — the wind blowing through the ponderosa pines and the relaxing babble of Rapid Creek as it flows along the property. Our group rides all take place in the beautiful Black Hills National Forest, on designated trails. We provide transportation to and from all trailheads during your stay.
